Re: Hearing loss & tinnitus
Hearing loss is a fast track. You do not need to see a family doctor. An audiologist can fill out all the required paperwork and do the test.
Once it is at step 3 it is 12-15 weeks.
Good Luck

Severe hearing loss .. hearing aids covered by VAC. Paperwork in progress for hearing loss , Family Dr. Appointment first week December.. to be referred to a specialist. So tinnitus claim can be filed.. Expect to hear back about claims in a year ... I said sweet. Hearing aids are expected to be in next week...And all this time I thought I trained my brain to block certain people out ... but anyways ya ... VAC stated minimum 1 year starting when filed..
Just a little FYI for people doing any kind of pension benefit application..
Good luck
