R22R, with all due respect but What the hell does a degree have to do with any of this issue? I too have a degree but also can see that there are issues that need to be addressed and that the veterans whose voices have been ignored in the past need the opportunity to speak out. Does the law firm deserve nearly $65,000,000 of our money for 8,000 hours of work? Even the most expensive lawyers in the country do not make $8,000 per hour. Rags is correct if a person took the time to read past class action cases for this kind of settlement that the fees have been between 3-5%. 5% is still almost $3,000 per hour to the lawyers, a pretty good wage I personally think. Why should our families have to endure more monetary losses than what they already have had to? Pay the legal team a fair portion for their fine work, pay Cpl Manuge a stipend for all of his hard work. Lets take pride that a young corporal veteran had the wisdom and the staying power to make the real villains in all this (the GOC) found to have been illegally stealing funds from the veterans that needed the support the most. Lets not just because one may have a degree feel that we are so much more knowledgable than the veteran that does not! We are after all Canadian Veterans.

PS i have been reading this site for months I know of the acermans and LMAFOs and i also see that many really gifted members have since departed and that is what scars me. i actually have a huge chest full of pride and loyalty for my good jumping buddies. Wow, I should have listened to my buddy who warned me about
the site and how you have to be a regular to have anyone listen to you. As I
stated I started a thread because my intent was to be heard, VOICE as the site
was intended. I am sorry I did not ask your permission “sparrow” as I am aware
of your on again off again status. I guess your motives for being heard
outweigh mine. You seem to be the voice of reason and ideally speak for
everyone. With all due respect you can kindly take your insult and ram it where
the sun should shine. I have never logged on or disappeared and I feel your
last post is a terrible injustice to those that do care. I have served my
country and served it beyond the call of duty and I wish I could be in Halifax to
show you how the price of war has disfigured us fakers, I can guarantee you I
will not sign out on log on as someone else.

The guys posting clarity are not crying out loud or getting into a riot. They are the ones keeping the eye on the prize and not allowing missin formation to be thrown around like its gospel.

So this is CSAT, I only started this thread to bring light to the real problem and in my opinion it is the illegal actions of our government period, I did not want to incite a riot for crying out loud. I honestly believe that the job is done but not complete and like all taskings, missions or all things military(disabled or not) our command element has to stay the course. Handing in the "end statement" before the role call is complete is just wrong.
