Bigrex, Canadian Veterans Advocacy translate all their messages into both official languages all day every day so we can always have them translate it a whole lot quicker!

Well one issue that may involve longer translation is the languages involved. If you look at the cases you listed, they may also need to be translated into Spanish or Chinese, so that those involved can read it. Ours should be a relatively easy one for the translation services. Hell, they can send it to me and I'll put it through Google Translate. That should give a close enough translation that our french brethren can get the gist.

Maggie, the only Federal Court Decisions listed are the following. Not sure what to make of the fact that the recently translated decisions are not on this list below. Does it mean they are really backed up in the system with translations and these below decision, if need be, still have to be translated?

New Decisions

Sparrow, do you know if those are the court dates or the date the decision was rendered. Some of the delay may be the length of time the judge took to write the decision.

Just checked the Federal Court website and this is the most recent Court Decisions that were translated and posted on their website.
Based on the below, it appears it is taking a great deal of time to translate documents.

New Translated Decisions

Date: January 9, 2013
Date: 4 décembre 2012
Date: 27 novembre 2012
