Re: Call Treasury!
Well now that you have filled your appeal, they will see as to what category you fit in, and then from there, make their decision as to, rather or not you will be reinstated.
At this point it looks as though, you have done everything that can be done, and now you just have to pray, and hope that you are successful, with your appeal.

Is that the questionnaire at the 18th or 24th month point , if not , I did not receive a questionnaire in October of last year.

Re: Call Treasury!
firebird, I became zero sum within the 24 Month period, therefore I no longer was receiving LTD.
In Oct of last year, I received the questionnaire sent out by Manulife.
I filled it out, and sent it back.
In Nov of last year, I received a letter from Manulife stating that I was deemed TPI, and was reinstated, effective Oct 01 2012.

Re: Call Treasury!
There are different types of situations. For example , were you deemed TPI at the 24 month point and therefore continued to receive LTD and then received a monthly VAC amount greater than the SISIP amount making you a zero sum and decided to stop submitting Doctor reports resulting in your file being closed?

Re: Call Treasury!
Thanks , thing is I was never instated. Just getting the two years that everyone gets as I did not submit medical information at the 18th and 24th month period because my VAC was higher than SISIP amount , all clawed back , no financial point being TPI.

Re: Call Treasury!
firebird, I was reinstated right away.
And yes I am aware of your appeal, and I am hoping that you get reinstated.

Re: Call Treasury!
Well we now know a lot more today, than we new last Week.
For me that is of some relief.
So all parties are up to speed on the matter.
And now as each Month passes, we will know more about the progress done.
So as long as manulife hold's true to their word, things should be on schedule.
I am a long term class member, and have been reinstated, I now think that my package will be completed in the tail end of the payout.
That is just what I think, at this time.

Re: Call Treasury!
And that my friend is going to be the excuse come 15 oct . Sisip will simply say, to avoid overpayment we will continue to thorough check each and every claim, we are sorry it's taking longer but we have a duty to the Canadian taxpayer to ensure its one correct. Judge can we have a 3 month extension?
