The law firm sends out the cheques (usually 1,500 to 2,000) within four business days of receiving the money and the processed member's information.

Thanks oldvet... Wife and i closed on a house as if Friday 8 am. I gambled on receiving my retro way earlier and sold off my home in Ontario in may. Pretty stupid move on my part, but with the shovel as an engineers primary weapon...
We will be fine. No furnishings or anything yet but soon. This past year has been very hard on many and for most this money is needed yesterday. If I wait another month that us ok too. I was reinstated from sisip. So we actually have just enough income now to survive. Thanks for the concern and very generous offer. Hold-fast. Out.

Actually I must say we are all in the same boat here. Only been waiting for a year. All the other decades have come and gone without ever hoping ,nay dreaming this would happen. 24 years...just a number. Twelve months excruciating. For everything else there's MasterCard!!
