I gotta say it appears the system is actually working for you Gunner. Although, the lack of communication obviously needs to improve.

It sounds like the decision has been made, but the letters just have not been delivered yet.

Re: Extended earnings loss
Keep in mind that just because a person is deemed DEC and is eligible for ELB does not mean you/one will qualify, regardless of attending/completing rehab or not.

Re: Extended earnings loss
If you are deemed unfit for rehab physically or mentally for retraining, your CM should automatically recommend the individual for DEC, once DEC the process is advanced again by your CM for EELB.

Re: Extended earnings loss
DEC is the only way to get EELB.
Anybody find out anymore on that DEC center
They are opening in Winnipeg?
Im with Bruce on the two year DEC review no way
enough already.
That manulife lawyer is turning eelb into sisip LTD!
The Canadian public thinks SNC is a scandal just
think if we could get an independent inquiry into
Veteran's affairs they would see real scandal.
The liberals have given hundreds of millions to independent company's to provide some sort of
Services, anybody been contacted by these company's?
Anybody stepped through their doors?
Has veteran's affairs sent anyone on here a letter,
To say these services are available to you?
Im looking for a government that will provide more transparency to veteran's, easyier, faster, fair access to benefits, and an independent oversight committee to manage the bureaucratic waste and mental abuse they inflict on veteran's!!!

Re: Extended earnings loss
Have you recently been deemed DEC? That is the only way ELB gets converted to EELB.

Extended earnings loss
I just noticed on myvac account that it now says extended earnings loss, and not temporary earnings loss. Anyone know why?
Thanks
