Just my feeling, but i think alot of guys never got letters because sisip thought they would never have to deal with them again because of the clawback, it might be just a case of a lazy cm, bcuase some got letters and some did not

Wife of vet, Was it you that said you told sisip to F off, because if you did, they will use this as a reason for cutting you off. they will say you volutarily left the ltd plan, end of. So you should call them and ask what the reason for not being deemed tpi at 24 month mark, they have to have something recorded for there records and if you changed addresses and did not let them know, they will say they tired to contact you and the 90 day appeal period is over. They follow this to a tee

Yes , i did every year, but i have not got one this year, probably due to this settlement, but they said when i called to find out if i was on the list , that i would get one in the package, but everyone will and everyone will have to do their yearly especially if you are getting a monthly payment. Hope this answers , puddles
Peeps, i think the ones who sell sisip insurance on base are retired chiefs, at least this was the case when i released in halifax and then in toronto also. They sisip at the 24 month mark sent me a medical which i filled out, same one every year, then mailed me a letter telling me i am tpi and i would hear from them once a year. Any insurance company that cuts you off has to inform you by registered letter because they use this as proof of contacting you so you can appeal. Ask them why no registered lettter , peeps

Navratilova,
Is not the SISIP employes civil servants. My original rep was a military officer.

Also did they ever sent someone a registered letter?

Navrat, I vaguely remember you saying you had filled in the yearly medical paperwork since your release, but you are still required to do so in the confimation package again, is this true?
