I just happened to check it after I asked the question here and I was able to apply but there was no notice given by email , letter or phone call that it started yesterday at 13:00. I got lucky.

I just applied at 5:34pm and won!

Well if you have registered, the AUCC should now issue you a password to allow you to view your account/profile.
Last time I believe they sent out the passwords via Canada post mail.

In your account you will have to provide your son's name, relationship to you (son), email of your son.

All other info that they will need will be asked by the AUCC to your son, from your son's email that you have provided.

It is really pretty straight forward, and once the application process starts, they will provide you with a phone number to contact them
with any questions you may have.

First thing is to get the info from the person that you are applying for , and or yourself, if it's for yourself.
This will be the first step, once the site opens up, you will have to register that person into the AUCC site.

Second, once the site opens up, info will be provided to you via email, letting you know when they will proceed with the applications.

Third, once you are given that info, make sure you have the proper time, if it is 1300 hrs Ottawa time on a certain day, you have to go with their time,
so adjust the time according to whatever time zone your in.

Keep in mind that it is a first come first serve basis, so you have to be ready with your mouse, if you do not get confirmation, keep trying.
It wont hurt to keep trying, you will know when you have been successful.

The Veterans Bursary Program is currently not accepting new applications. The next launch will be announced on the website and eligible Veterans will receive an email notifying them of the date.
