NON-TAXABLE BENEFIT
As with the PSC, the APSC is not taxable

non taxed?? bs
they reduced it by the amount of taxes we paid on it. thats like raising prices 15% and saying theres no tax.

What has me concerned is the APSC. If it is replacing the CIA, what happens to the CIAS? I currently get grade 2 CIA plus the supplement, so over $2300 before taxes. Am I going to lose that to be replaced with grade 2 APSC of only $1000? That would be a drop of several hundred dollars per month.

I think whoever was making up the slides, simply got confused between the current benefits, and their new names. So if the CIA is truly becoming the APSC, it would make sense that the same restrictions would apply..

VAC has a page which has some examples of how this new stuff is gonna work, though looking at it, still makes my head spin.. Same like the bottom of the Page where there is some Questions about this new plan..
And did you know part of the calculations actually take into account your Sex..
Yup depending if your male and or female there's a difference in Life Expectancy go figure...
