I think I get what your saying...two different T4A's for one COLA CHEQUE...the amounts were split within that one COLA payment...the split amount is why they sent you two different T4A's ?

No , different amounts totalling the COLA amount. COLA is all I received from Manulife in 2015 and interest.

No , one COLA cheque from MC but received two T4A's and one T5.

I received two T4A's and I did not have monthly LTD payments , they are both for the COLA. Just informing.

What you need from Manulife to complete your taxes as far as the SISIP/COLA goes.

One T4A for normal Monthly LTD payments.

One T4A for the COLA.

One T5 for the interest.

Receipt from MC to claim Legal Fees paid.

According to Manulife producing T1198’s would have been a huge undertaking that would not have produced any real clear or definitive numbers. The undertaking would have taken so long and been so inconclusive that they would have had more complaints about not receiving the T4’s and other documentation. Also CRA only recognizes the T1198’s from the settlement and not the COLA fees and to amalgamate the two also would require a system that does not provide any such commonality or relationship between the two. I say horseshyte but that’s the answer I received and well……………. Hell I gotta get on with my life without SISIP, lets get that 90% LTD going so I can roll over to ELB and be done with this crap, GO LEAFS GO
