Manulife T4A For 2015

Sparrow, if it helps in my case my manulife regular T4a came in a normal white envelope where as the manulife COLA T4a and T5 came in a larger brown envelope together. received both on the 24th Feb.

I believe liverlover has received both T4A's and one T5.

The T1198 comes from Manulife...Note: No one has reported receiving the 1198 thus far...unsure at this time if they will be sending one out or not.

I will ask for them to email it, it worked last time lol That 1198 is generated from MC correct?

I for one will not wait for - or submit a T1198 it they do send one out...I had enough headaches from our 2013 retro...but that's just me.

you mean I have to fill in another 1198 and probably more T1 Adjustments for both spouse and unused DTC benefits, oh the joys of dying poor me laddy

There are certain requirements that are put in place as to if Manulife will send out a T1198 , one is the retro amount has to be over $3000.
Also if you do get one an decide to send it in , it has to be sent in with your taxes an your return has to be mailed in to the CRA.

If your retro was more than $3000 an you have received all of your required tax slips T4A's / T5  for 2015 , my advice would be to contact your CM to see if they are going to send you a T1198...if the answer is no...then your good to go for completing your taxes...if the answer is yes...then it's up to you to decide rather it's worth waiting for it or not.

I received two T4s and a T5 but no 1198.

Still waiting for the T5 from Manulife.
